Tuition and Fees

The Value of a UF Degree

We recognize that earning an advanced degree is a strategic investment in your career. The University of Florida has a longstanding history in returning an exceptional value for the cost of a public university.

Graduate degrees from UF command higher salaries, offer lower overall debt relative to other programs, and provide an outstanding professional network and career advancement.

We are confident in the value the Masters of Engineering Management program provides, and are looking forward to assisting you.

Tuition and Fees

In addition to per credit hour tuition and fees, a one time matriculation fee of $500 is due upon program admission.

Tuition and UF fees are billed each semester. UF fees are set by the university each academic year and subject to change.

Prices below reflect the most current available pricing. Refer to the Bursar’s website for the most up-to-date tuition fees.

Cost Per Credit Hour Credits per Semester Total Cost Per Semester
In-state  $530.69 6 $3184.14
Out-of-state $1327.88 6 $7967.28

The cost per credit hour amount given covers all course fees, student fees, and administrative fees, but does not include expenses associated with textbooks, transportation, lodging, or computer hardware (the program requires that students have unrestricted access to a personal computer, and a laptop may be needed during class weekends).

Employer tuition assistance

Many companies offer tuition support for their valued employees. This can reimburse part or all of the program costs for your masters degree. Check with your HR department to see what benefits are available to you.

The MSEM program schedule is specifically designed to line up with most company reimbursement calendars. The 20 month program is spaced out across 3 calendar years intentionally to help students optimize employer-sponsored educational assistance plans that often have maximum allowed amounts payable within a single calendar year.

Occasionally, organizations will agree to directly pay for an employee’s education costs in the form of a sponsorship. For more information on setting up sponsorship payments, read about UF’s process for third-party sponsorship.

We strongly encourage active duty and military veterans to apply for the MSEM program.

For additional support for Veterans please contact UF’s Office of Student Veterans Services.
